
Sand Finale

It’s out! We can talk about it now. All of this & this was for National Geographic Magazine.
Becky Hale (National Geographic Magazine photographer) contacted me back in March asking if I could build a sandcastle in their studio for a series they do on tools. We decided to build a sandbox on our farm once everybody understood the amount of sand and water involved.

The article is more about the tools than the castle so some of the areas around the castle are smoothed out to make space for the writing that will accompany the photo.
We avoided thunderstorms all day. The next morning I finished the sandcastle (Figures 3, 4, 5 & 6) and played with the new tools that I invented. Figure 7

Now that the story is out I will write a few How & Why articles on the new tools.
